This is not usual but we have done work for both Australian and UK-based clients before in the past. As long as the client is okay with the time zone difference from Pacific Standard Time, we can do it. Communicating in Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams works fine and can get quite interesting if you see a backdrop!
