Ever wonder why we use cogs in our logo, on our we Ever wonder why we use cogs in our logo, on our website, and in our marketing material? You didn't?! Well, read on, friends...

Well, we believe that every cog represents a marketing channel in your business. They rely on each other to move, creating momentum, all working together. But when one stops, that cog affects the others.

For example, if you just launched a new website for a Victoria retirement community (ahem, just suggesting an example), that same message and imagery should appear on your website, in Facebook, on Instagram, your Google Business Profile, and LinkedIn. If someone is in Facebook and they don't see it, they don't know!

Keep your cogs moving together. Don't ignore one then it stops the whole machine!

He was there with his group. Eating melon. And I introduced myself. He said, “You from England? I played in the Albert Hall, that was one big motherf***er.” He then signed this and I left, on cloud nine. #donaldbyrd #metmyhero

So what do you do when your website goes down? And So what do you do when your website goes down? And believe me, it WILL go down at some point as the internet is not perfect, much like us (who designed and built it).

1. Don’t panic!

2. Check that your domain name is paid up and there are no unpaid invoices.

3. Check that your web hosting account is up-to-date and there are no unpaid invoices.

4. Check another website to make sure it’s not your internet connection that is down. Maybe check on your mobile device.

CAN YOU CONTACT US?

5. Absolutely, you may reach out to us for help. If you are on one of our monthly care plans, we will do this as part of that plan, but if it turns out to be something external from the website which has caused it, that may incur billable time for us to investigate and resolve your issue.

As a footnote, make sure you can log into your accounts in case we need those credentials.

Don’t panic…
