Over the last several months, we’ve been working closely with our customers on how we can make creating beautiful emails with Market 2 All even easier. Based on your feedback, we’re excited to announce a new template library for our email builder, with over 25 brand new templates for you to choose from.
We’ll begin to roll out the new templates starting next week, so you can expect to see the new templates in your account over the next few weeks when you create a new campaign under the Campaigns tab. You’ll notice the email builder itself hasn’t changed, but the way you customize a pre-built template to make it your own is easier and faster.
We’ve set up each template with placeholder text and images that you can replace with your own content. And of course, you’ll still have the option to upload a custom HTML template and use any templates you’ve created and saved in the past.
[su_spoiler title=”How will you see these new templates?” open=”yes” style=”fancy”]When you’re setting up a campaign for your client, only you will be able to see the “Create New” menu and option to select one of the new templates. Once you customize and save the template, this will create a draft campaign for your client and will add the new template to your “My Templates” view.[/su_spoiler]
[su_spoiler title=”Will you be able to do anything in the new template area that you couldn’t do before?” open=”no” style=”fancy”]No, only the UI has changed. Any existing templates will be under “My Templates”. With the exception of imported HTML campaigns and automation campaigns, you will also be able to see every campaign that has ever been sent from your account under “Previously Sent”.[/su_spoiler]
[su_spoiler title=”Can you continue to use templates that already exist in your account?” open=”no” style=”fancy”]Yes, if there are pre-existing templates set up, you will find them under “my templates” when creating a campaign or automated workflow.[/su_spoiler]
[su_spoiler title=”Can you use the new templates to create automated workflows and A/B test campaigns?” open=”no” style=”fancy”]Yes the new templates work with A/B test campaigns and all automated emails except for site or blog updates, because they are triggered by RSS and require an RSS-compatible template to work.[/su_spoiler]
[su_spoiler title=”Will you still be able to edit existing templates?” open=”no” style=”fancy”]Yes, the builder that you used to originally create a template will be the same.[/su_spoiler]
